Barcelona’s Born neighborhood will be transformed into a meals-lover’s paradise this weekend for Born Avenue Food items 2022.
Functioning from June 17-19 at the Plaça Pla de Palau, the foodie pageant options top rated chefs displaying off road meals from house and overseas.
There will be rice dishes from 1881 for every Sagardi, utilizing clean fish from the Llotja de la Barceloneta market, imaginative tapas by chef Dani Rueda from Tapeo, and Mexican tacos from Joan Bagur of Oaxaca Cuina Mexicana.
Cheese-enthusiasts need to not overlook Eva Vila’s produce from La Teca de Vila Viniteca, there will be sluggish-cooked pulled pork from Oriol Rovira of Pork boig per tu, and new Japanese restaurant Ikoya Izakaya, headed by chef Hideki Matsuhisa, tends to make its Born Avenue Food debut.
All over the weekend, chefs will give demonstrations on how to prepare street dishes, accompanied by new music from regional DJs.
The foodstuff festival, structured by Barcelona Born Gourmand, runs from 12 noon to midnight on Friday and Saturday and from 12 midday to 10pm on Sunday.
Tickets costing €3.50 can be acquired to exchange for food items (2 tickets) and drinks (1 tickets), with a compulsory least order of 3 tickets. Advance scheduling is not expected.
